Pumpkin Pancakes!

File this under things we do almost but not quite weekly, but enough to be considered...what would it be? Habit? Tradition? I'm at a loss. How about "things we do almost-but-not-quite-weekly"? Regularly?

Pumpkin pancakes. We love our pumpkin pancakes. It all started when we bought a pumpkin pancake mix from a roadside store one fall. We couldn't keep going back and buying mix, so I found a recipe on the internet. Eric loves to help make them. That boy is better at cracking eggs than I am. I now have him reading the ingredients to me too - good reading practice. He gets the ingredient right (bisquick, pumpkin, etc.) but not so much the amount. It calls for 1 tbls. sugar. He told me "one tea cup of sugar". Not a bad interpretation!




Daddy cooks, flips, sometimes hits the ceiling - add butter, syrup and eat. YUM!!
