Uh-Oh

So we've had a bit of cold weather this winter. Nothing compared to winter in the midwest, but so far our coldest winter in the south. Apparently the cold and changes in temperature do a number on water pipes.

Late in the afternoon, Ross left to run a quick errand. When he came back he noticed the driveway was all wet. We found the source to be water pouring out the outside wall of the garage! Shut water off, call plumber. It wasn't easy to find an emergency plumber as this problem was rampant. We finally got one out to fix it around 9:30pm. Thank goodness we had bottled water for cooking, washing and brushing teeth! (I'll never be without bottled water again!)

The next day when Elyse and I were pulling into the garage after being out and about, she pointed to the hole in the garage wall and said "Uh oh". She also said it for many days after that when pulling into the garage. I was surprised she even noticed!
