Sometimes lately when I put Elyse in her crib, she curls up face-down with her cute little tush in the air and burrows in. It looks like she's trying to dig in her perfect little comfort zone and, being the mother bird, I feel like I should provide her with materials in which to feather her nest. Or whatever. Anyway, one day after I had put her down for a nap, I went to check on her to make sure she had fallen asleep and this is what I found:

It was so darn precious I had to take a picture. Then I rolled her onto her side for fear of her not being able to breathe properly! Fortunately, neither that or the camera woke her up.
One recent night I heard a strange noise through the monitor. I went to her room to discover her making a kind of snoring sound. She was pretty much in that same position! Of course, I moved her again. What a funny little bird!
