Eric-isms

Part of my reason for keeping this blog is to record things about my kids. I've written a few things down here and there, but I need to be much better about it. These blog-type things can be published into a book format. Now there's some reading that is sure to put you to sleep! Anyway, I digress.

I love the funny things kids say. I mentioned a couple things to Eric recently that he "mispronounced" when he was younger and he thought it was funny. Thank goodness I wrote a few down, because after looking at them again I don't know if I would have remembered if I didn't have them in ink. I thought I would record a few recent ones here.

Eric said, "Mom, there is someone be-head of us". (We were in the car and there was someone ahead or behind us....hmmm.....it was ahead).

Eric said, "Mom, did you plug this out?" (Instead of "unplug". I like it.)

Here are some words Eric has been using lately (what he means to say in parenthesis)

medium room (media room)
granilla (granola)
crowns (crayons)
wipe-ment (ointment)
crest (crust - like bread or pizza)
Hell Foods (Whole Foods)

Okay, we try not to laugh at the last one, but we also can't bear to correct him. Shame on us.

That's all for now.
