Pumpkin Patch

Today we celebrated the fall tradition of the pumpkin patch. It was a gorgeous day to go. It was warm, but not hot and the sky could not have been more blue and clear. Apparently, a lot of other people decided it was a good day to go! It was a bit crowded for my liking, but we were able to take in the experience of the pumpkins, bounce house/slide, hay maze (couldn't quite wait in line for the hay ride) and of course, photo opps. Here are a few:

Of course, I have to start with this one:

Hangin' out in a pumpkin house

The cutest punkins' in the patch!

With Mom....

With Dad....

With Buzz! There were lots of characters around, but this is a fave

Elyse picking out her baby pumpkin

Eric at the top of the slide. The sky was as blue as his eyes!

Whee!

Okay, I had to include this one. I wasn't quick enough with the camera and another child came flying over the top and into the picture. I didn't notice her at the time, but when I looked at the picture....Wow. Check out the mass of hair on this girl!! (click on it to make it larger). That can't be good on her neck and back!

Oh and while Eric was going down the slide, Elyse was attacking her Gerber puffs with serious gusto!

It seemed like a lot of the good photo opportunities placed the kids facing right into the sun, but nevertheless, we captured some good memories and had fun!
