Once the calendar turned over to October, Eric was very excited to start getting out Halloween and fall decorations. There are two ceramic Jack-o-Lanterns we've had for a few years now. Eric said, "Mom, where are you going to put those breakable nervous pumpkins?" I never really thought about what emotion was captured on those faces. I think Eric's description is spot on. Don't you?
I also wanted to get a cute "fall" picture of the kids to put in a seasonal frame. This was my first weak attempt. I gave up quickly, thinking it will be easier on the weekend when Ross is around to help distract them. We have some gorgeous fall weather this weekend, so hopefully.....
