Pumpkin Patch #1

We love fall around here! It's still a little hard to get used to what the different seasons feel like in the south. There is some great fall weather down here, but it's more like summer...or rather a relief from the extreme heat of summer!

Last year, it was a wet fall and going to the pumpkin patch proved to be a hit or miss exercise and when it was a "hit", it was a muddy one. We had great weather for all of our pumpkin patch trips this year.

We took our first trip today while Grandma and Grandpa O. were here. We went to a nearby church that has a pumpkin patch every year. It was a warm and windy day! The kids had a hard time keeping their eyes open for the pictures. The kids and I also took a hay ride, while Dad took pictures and Grandma and Grandpa rested and watched on a bench. Our first trip was fun and we scored some pumpkins too! (These pictures are far from great, but they're pictures!)
